i'm now down in seattle and watching the election results roll in with increasing despair. part of me just refuses to believe that i live in a country where the majority of the population supports the policies of bush and has a positive view of the last four years of his reign.
republicans mystify me. i can believe that republican voters exist out there somewhere in america, sort of like giant squids exist somewhere in the pacific, but i'm always shocked when i actually encounter them in person. whenever i actually meet a republican ii'm always so taken aback that i simply sit and stare with my jaw hanging limply. as a result i never get to talk to them, never get to relate to them, and the mystique of the republican only grows stronger for me. there's so many people in this country which i cannot relate to.
halloween was fun. i stole a costume idea matt and i joked about last year and draped a patterned bedsheet over my and wrote "ghost" on the front in permanent marker. it was fun.
work is alright and it seems like i'm working on some interesting stuff again, but it's still work.

let's just try to love the americans as they are, then maybe love will show them the way to goodness... but probably not ;)
